This is a discontinued deck lift cylinder for Cub Cadet Tractors, and is available from stock. Discontinued hydraulic cylinders that are no longer available from Cub Cadet, MTD Products, and Hydra-Slide hydraulic systems, National Recreational Vehicles, Winnebago Motor Homes, Gulf Stream Motor Homes, Dutchmen Travel Trailers, and Sundowner Horse Trailers.

This part number was used on the Cub Cadet Yard tractor for hydraulically raising and lowering the mowing deck. Designed in 1983 and used for this purpose until approximately 1988, at which time it was replaced by several new designs in production up to 2001. Should fit 1800 series Garden Tractors and these 1864, 1863, 1841, 1811, 1812, 1712, 782, 782D. It is a repairable 2 ½” hydraulic cylinder, ¾” rod, double acting, cast steel cap, 2 3/8” stroke, ½” cross tube on the rod end, ½” cross hole on the cap end, with a maximum operating pressure of 800 PSI. This cylinder is available for use in many other applications where a short stroke, 1,000# force is required.
