Repair Non Repairable Hydraulic Cylinder

I have a hydraulic cylinder used on many early model John Deere Garden Tractors and attachments. It is P/N AM31362. The price from Deere is outrageous and is considered non-repairable and thus many of us are looking for a cost effective replacement or repair option. Could you please quote repair if that is possible or a new replacement? Thank you. John Deere P/N AM31362 Bore diameter: 2.50" Stroke: 4" Rod diameter: 1" Closed length: 8" pin hole to pin hole. Pin hole diameter: .516" Working pressure (as stated by Deere) 2,000 psi Fitting connections are drilled and tapped 1/8" NPT

This cylinder appears to be similar to the design that we manufactured for Cub Cadet. We have repaired other John Deere designs, and do not believe this one is any different. If you will send it in, we will quote repairing it back to the original specifications. We manufacture several cylinders that appear to be non-repairable, but they can be repaired and refurbished back to the original specifications. Upon receipt you will be advised of the need for a new cylinder, or the cost of repairing it. Send it to ATT: HYDRAULIC REPAIR DEPT, Custom Cylinders International, Inc., 1220 Enterprise Dr., Winchester, KY 40391. Put the cylinder in a heavy duty plastic trash bag, wrap it with a heavy packing material, and place it in a heavy duty cardboard box. Give us a call if you need any further information.
